Dorothy Hinson is a main character in the 1992 film, A League of Their Own. She is portrayed by Geena Davis and Lynn Cartwright.
Biography[]
In the film, Dottie Hinson attends the opening of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League exhibit at the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1988. There, she sees many former teammates and friends, which gives her a flashback to 1943 when she was #8 on the Rockford Peaches. She was a catcher and assistant manager on the team.
