Esti González is a main character in the Amazon Prime Video television series, A League of Their Own. She is portrayed by Priscilla Delgado.
Biography[]
Esti decides to try out for the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League after they put out a call to recruit women since most of the men baseball players were drafted. She went to Chicago for tryouts and was eventually chosen to play for the Rockford Peaches.
At first, the Peaches weren't a particularly great team. Coach Dove was assigned to coach them but he wasn't very committed to the team. Esti and the other girls decided to have their own practices, with Carson leading them.
In season 1, episode 6 Esti packs her bags and leaves. Lupe and Jess went looking for her after reading a letter she had wrote and ultimately threw away. They found Esti at the train station and asked her to come back because they team needed her. Esti agrees to go with them, but on one condition, if she can drive the car. Esti crashes the car (which belongs to Beverly).
The Rockford peaches make it to the Championships winning 3 games and having to face off against the Blue Sox for the final title. In the end final episode they end up losing but all come together and celebrate one last time.
