Evelyn Gardner is a main character in the 1992 film, A League of Their Own. She is portrayed by Bitty Schram.
Biography[]
Evelyn joins the Rockford Peaches while her husband is away at war. Unfortunately for the other Peaches, she brings her son along, who taunts the team to no end.
During the season, she composes a song for both female teams, which they adopt as their anthem.
Evelyn dies before the events of the reunion, but Stilwell attends.
