Jimmy is the manager of the Rockford Peaches. He was a former star on the Cubs. Jimmy is a cynical alcoholic. He treats the Women's Baseball League as a joke and is rude toward the players on his team, though begins to warm up to the team and eventually considers them "ballplayers".
